the glass on the first side is pretty well removed again.

the other side had a problem as well. the glass did not follow the
contour between hull and keel. so I sanded it away.

luckily this is just to protect the
plug, it sure gives me some experience...
I think I will first cover the plug with urethane varnish before glassing
where it is bare, because I think the resin was sucked into the
gypsum just too fast, making for a poor bond between plug and
resin shell.
I got some considerable assistance from the italian Betasom forum,
where a lot of pictures of the CB in Trieste were posted just for me.
It's fun to communicatie using babelfish.
however, I fear that there was a lot of inexpert restructuring done to this vessel, because there are a lot of details visible that are different from the
historic pictures.
