Smitty, looks like were in the same boat I bought my kit last summer but I now have two kids under two, so things are slow. It would be great to compare notes. I'm mostly finished with the tech rack but I just ordered the electronics, so nothing is running yet.

I also started cutting the slots. I posted some pictures under the Builder Threads forum.
