British T class plan. And water detecting sensor.

    Hi all

I was just wondering if anyone has any plans of a british t class. That shows the bulkhead's clearly i did purchase a plan of a t class from traplet publication's but it does not show anything regarding the frames/bulkhead's and the plan is on what only can be desribed as poor quality paper.

    Regarding the sensor!

Im currently working on a project at college which is similar to probes that would be in the like's of a sealed ballast tank.

There is a sensor fixed to what ever height is required inside the ballast tank and above this is an led when the sensor detect's the reflection from the led it triggers the relay on the circuit board which then shut's down the power supply to the pump/speed control.

I just thought this might also work in other application's such as raising attenae and periscope etc. Anyone interestead i could probably scan the photomask onto the pc and email the design along with a list of components and there value's to you.

    Dive sytem!

I've been reading about the Rcabs and the Rcabs-R
and was just wondering if they could be used in the same way people use the piston tank method for trimming
I,e if i had a central ballast tank and wanted to adjust the height of bow or stern could the Rcabs/Rcabs-r be used?

    thanks and best regards

    Sure. Just put valves on

Sure. Just put valves on the tubing going to the small trim bladders fore and aft. The same pump used for the central bladder would be used for the trim bladders. It should work to adjust trim while in the water. I thought of this years ago, but have not found it to be necessary. RCABS was designed to be simple, but modifying it is part of what makes this hobby interesting.

              Trafalgar i have been in

Trafalgar i have been in contact with john lambert regarding his plans.

It appears that the A & U class are the best plans to purchase from him.

              E-mail from j lambert

In fairness though, those of the "A" Class are most detailed as they were used for our book "The Submarine Alliance".

Those of the "U" Class are highly detailed. I have also drawn the respective submarine guns in full detail.

Select whatever, and come back to me and I will answer any queries.

If anyone else has any other links or idea's please let me no, im really only after the frame's so if anyone can copy them and email me i would be grateful.

              Thanks
