    Hi Mylo,
    Tell me about it!

    Hi Mylo,
Tell me about it! That is what I am doing now trying to figure out how much I would charge for one. It cost over $250 for me to build one, and that is no time added in! They would not be cheap, but they would be RTD. Even a synthesized receiver is inlcuded, all you need is a transmitter. I have built three so far that are and will be tested, and hopefully next year I may sell the 3" unit. BD.

      Ok Dave, I want one.

Ok Dave, I want one. I don't know what it will go in, but I have plenty of sub kits laying around to put it in. I see you said 250 in parts, and since you are having trouble figuring a price, i'd be happy to help out. I'll give you $255 USD, 2 dozen cookies, 4 Eclairs, and a fresh French Apple pie. I'll throw in a Pumplin pie to cover the shipping. I'll be at the bakery in Owego next week, so you can just ship it there........

So do we hve a deal? ...lol....
just kidding, but I do really want one, and I WILL include a bok of cookies....

        Dave and Geo -
Are you guys still experimenting with the reverse RCABs? Have you found any negatives to it?

          Actually yes I am! I

Actually yes I am! I designed a mini-R unit for Steve’s 212 project, and the new cylinder for the Gato is an R design. The R designs are simple systems and work almost flawless. A lot of design goes into making them simple. The only real drawback I have found is size. The pressure vessel takes up a lot of room and the WTC has to be larger than normal. George mounts his outside of the WTC but you still have to have the room for it. The pumps can only pressurize just about the same volume of air that the pressure vessel can hold. Other than this I have no bad things to say about the system. BD.

            As Dave said, space is

As Dave said, space is the only real drawback. But you can get creative. Putting the pressure vessel outside the WTC allows you to tuck one or more smaller ones here and there around the wet space, much as you would with foam. The result is additive. I put a pair of auxilliary tanks in my Akula to generate a bit more air volume, and now I get much more reserve buoyancy when surfaced. All my future boats will be Reverse RCABS. And no, I haven't forgotten the promised article. Just looking for a little free time. (The Gato will put a dent in that. )
