Another good excuse. All my birds are built and flown. I have one more RC jet kit to build under my bench. Might be a nice break.

        As you know I'm more

        Steve

As you know I'm more of a warship builder than anything, I have pleanty of ships ranging from 22inches to 4 feet.. Battleships down to Schnellboots (My wife bought me #2) and I plan on building the PT109 1/32 next and then finish off my Prinz Eugen in 1/400 scale RC. But I still have two subs that I stopped all work on back in June
my Kilo and my Seawolf.. I have full intentions to pick these back up in November and finish the jobs I started.. The Kilo just needs the reciever and a LiPo battery pack w/charger and I'm ready to do diving.. my Seawolf is going to be a scratch project for testing..before I buy another one to build a DW WTC around.

        Dave you are the Man!

I have some of the Trumpeter XXI uboats I want to convert over..I'm saving those for next year.

Oh yeah..almost forgot...I do have a I-19 Nimicho sub that I have the hulls fastened together, just waiting for the electronics to become just alittle smaller..

ooooohhhh ....a type II. Cool. IIA, D What ?

I'm off to the shop to put the finishing touches on a 1:400 VIIb kit so I can complete my thread over there in the static model section. This one is too small for a WTC. Not R/C, but I'm still building subs. Does that count ?

              Steve,

There....I'm done my little type VIIb tutorial project. (check it out in the static modeler. My digi cam doesn't do the model justice. It's really a nicely detailed boat for it's size.)

                        Thank for the incouragement!

I do post once in a while, my projects tend to be more of the surface warships more than submarines. I want to really move over to subs more than anything because there are more challeneges building subs than a 4 foot long Battleship..

I have posted about my S-100 Schnellboot from Revell of Germany
and what I used to get her running.. My other Schnellboot will have twin props running. unless I can find some high rpm motors
and hope that after a certain speed the boat would be torque steering! hahaha..(reminds me of my Turbo Dodge)
This coming month I hope to get the last of the parts together
for the Kilo and the Seawolf.. dang shame that winter seems to have landed here in Southern Ohio..but hey I have been known to take my boats out in the middle of January with ice floating all around! ask my wife about that story!

I'll start another thread soon...it might havea mixture of ship and sub building..and i will be asking for opinons if you think it will work or not..

18 inch fs-1 ( flying sub) had some great sucess with the 16 incher and 24 but the 18 will give the right amount of internal space and not break your back with batteries

Well I'm happy to say it looks like we have some building threads going on here. I'm very pleased to see the Oscar going up fast. Still I know there are a lot of you working on projects and not posting. Whether you know how to post pictures or not please take the time to learn.

Lets see more action. If you have trouble with posting pictures contact Jeff and he'll steer you through it. It's not that hard.

Table Dancer sent me these today of his little beauty Type 7. I love the the paint scheme! Nice change although I'm sure Jeff will have a go at you. LOL!! Very nice.
