What I need to do is build a scale conning tower & put the screens on the periscope... put in on a hydraulic base & have someone spray it with the hose! I'll need a white capitans hat... hmmm

Jokes aside, I WAS going to build a 1/2 scale control room and conning tower out of sheet tin that I have laying around as well as 2" pipe and "stuff". Weld 'er all up, paint, have the boys bring over their PCs, hook them up to the LAN installed in the sub, and go on patrol.
However, SHIII doesn't support multi-player sub stations (You know, One guy is the sonar operator, another guy the CO) and so I couldn't rig all the monitors up and run SHIII the way I wanted to, so I scrapped the idea and decided to focus my efforts on building an R/C one. (hence the reason I'm here).
It's amazing how much having a couple of people involved when you're playing gets things done. My buddy & I used to play attack sub 688 on Genesis for hours. one of us was the capitan & the other executed the plan. It took alot of strain off each person.
BTW Steve, I bought a computer last night for that "$@%&" game!
I'll never finish that sub!!! I can't multi task! (ADD)

Steve, The card I bought yesterday isn't fast enough, so I'm going to get a faster card now! As far as the TypeVIIC I added another servo & switch yesterday, but I am not sure I want it hooked up for now, so I'm going to seal it up in a bit. I hope it's dry by tomorrow!

Well the pool has water in it again. Better to test here before you risk it at the lake. It's suppose to 100 tomorrow although I can't see it yet. Let me know what you want to do.
And yes get a better card. A Nividia 6600 256 card will do the job and leave you some change over for your boats!
