Can I just make minor repairs..like where the drill went into the glass...with some standard fiberglass resin?

    Yes, you can make minor

Yes, you can make minor repairs with standard fiberglass resin (like the Bondo brand at most auto parts stores). If it's a minor defect, like a dimple from a drill bit or a deep scratch, you could use some auto body putty or spot glazing putty (Bondo red putty).

      I filled in 80 something

I filled in 80 something holes on my Alfa to move the flood hole locations.
I tried laying wax paper on the outside, then taping it to the hull. Then I went on the inside and mixed up some microballons and epoxy resin (love that stuff).Put a relly small piece of matt cloth in the hole after putting the mix in first.Use a toothpick to apply. When finished, it usually comes out pretty good.Be sure and get any airpockets out before it drys.
