    Steve,

I hold the rear of the WTC by a pin you can see in the photo. The front end has a brass thumb screw that pushes the WTC against the pin. It's quite easy to remove and install. I use an indexing lip to mate the two halfs together. Dave.

Well it's certainly handy to be a member. Here's some pictures.

Thanks to Big Dave for the advice. I used a tab in the back of the boat to hold it in place and then one little screw in the front holds everything down very well.

Just waiting on the seals from Mike's Subworks and I can finish her off. I'll just detail the sub while I wait.

Thank you very much. I recieved my seals. I have the control rod seals in as you can see. Next the stuff box seal and we should be ready to go.

Got an Akula from my wife for Christmas so I'll be finishing it off soon as I can't wait to build the Akula next.

I finshed it tonight. Just have to test and trim. Hoping to be leak free.

Here's some pictures. And here's one that shows the size of the hull from the new Trumpeter Seawolf compared to the type 7 and the kilo. It's big enough to hold a 3 inch OD WTC. Lots of room for a gas ballast system and a small gel cell to.

                          Steve

the radio you have in the picture on the left hand side is the same I have for my Uboat!

Nice pictures there of that Kilo, maybe after I get myself together I can finish mine and the other kits I have waiting to be born. Also have some very small subs I would like to
to finish made by CN models, a Seawolf,Akula and Alfa subs.
the two russians boats are big enough for some guts but I'm affraid the Seawolf is not...then again one of those ZipZap cars might have what I seek!

can you email a picture or two of the sealwolf to me?
I would like to see how the model fits together and how
the rudder linkage is going to work, figure out the issue before getting my hand dirty.

                              I'll see what I can

I'll see what I can do later this weekend Mark. Got her taped together but not glued right now. Basically there's a nose cone and tail cone and the two hull sections top and bottom. It's ideal for an RC conversion. You could even use a gell cell in it.
