      nice robbe paint job,

ok ok, i don't like it.
too much work. to get it work right.

i like the new krick u boat type VII, it has batter set up. looks cool!

but if you never build vacuum formed model, these two sub a pain to build. for beginer.

      my $1.98

            Had the kit a few

Had the kit a few years ago. Definitely not a beginner's kit. Got rid of it over a year ago.

will u be using 3 or 4 channel radios? - i.e will u be controlling the front or rear planes? or both? Curious

                          I

                          my plessure

I will be using 3 channels. I have been looking around the net, and it seems that poeple have locked them in neutral position, or removed them completly. I will also fix mine in the neutral position, and see how it goes.

I will only control the aft dive plane, and rudder, and speed control.

                            ok i see

                            I was thinking

                            ok i see

I was thinking about buying this sub - but unsure how the automatic depth system works as it says in the manufacturer literature.

tell us how she sails using just the rear planes. I am curious to how its going to work!

                            But excellent work so far...

                              Thanks. http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/icon_smile.gif

                              If you build

                              Thanks.

If you build it completly like the manual, then the front diving planes are connected to a fake radar, which you can see on the very first pictures in this thread.

When the sub dives , and the water reaches the radar, then the front dive planes move upward, and the sub surfaces automaticly.

I have just disabled this feature on mine.....I think I can handle it by myself

                              Well see.

I stille have to buy a 6V battery, and a reciever to finish her up.
