    boat lifter/launcher

I had a couple of questions at Carmel about my boat launcher. I looked through my old posts and the directions/images are gone so I am reposting. It is made from 1/2" copper pipe and where the boats rest is wrapped in rubber electrical tape. The sizes listed are for what suited my needs and can easily be changed to whatever works for you. One other thing to note is that there are 2 common wall thicknesses for water pipe I used the thicker for mine as I have some heavier surface boats that use it too.

Thanks for bringing the boat launcher to Carmel. I used it to get the
Boone and the Shark out of the water.

One alternative to the tape is to zip tie on some of the hollow foam pipe insulation. The joints are just soldered, a small torch makes quick work of it. Very handy at pondside!

It should look like yours Rick I based it on your design with some mods to work with some of my other boats, Greg
