Good points Bob! I will be testing this on a 1/48 scale Gato after the Trafalgar and possibly after the Kairyu. I do need to scale the end cap down for 2.5" and 2 " single and dual shaft designs. This weekend (hopefully) I will get to the river and get some underwater shots of the Skipjack using the new system.
As far as slippage, I will play with that as well (doing emergency backups) and full speed. I initially thought I might need less powerful magnets in there. Again, testing and time needed to run these. When the Trafalgar gets in the water, it will be another chance to put this WTC through its paces.
