1/72 Charlie II kit

Starting to look like a Charlie. No matter how I try my old camera has a hard time showing all the details in the hull. When it is fully painted then I will take it outside to take pics. Maybe then it will show all the detail. If not I give up. I will be hard pressed if I even make and sell 3 kits as the Charlie is so hard to lay up cloth in that upper hull. Ask Don Spielberger how hard it is as he has my Charlie I molds and he has laid them up.

I really like the level of detail coming in!
Not available when I built my first serious r/c model sub in 1976. A Charlie 1 or 2 (who knew then) built from "Model Boat" plans. Don't copy any of those details!

Here it is the Charlie II. Weather turned nasty so unable to do some final painting and more detail work. Scribe detail finally showed from camera. Notice how much bigger rudders are on a Charlie II vs Charlie I. So it is official this is the last sub mold I am making. Enjoy.
