1/72 Charlie II kit

Here is the last boat molds I am making. Getting out of sub molds. Getting too old plus I have too much else going on. Little over 5 years I made molds for a 1/72 Alfa, 1/72 Charlie I, 1/72 Charlie II, 1/72 Victor III, 1/72 Golf II, 1/96 Delta III, 1/96 Delta IV, 1/72 688. I am tired. Anyway Charlie II is 57" long with a 5 1/2" beam. Tons of detail scribed into hull and sail plugs. My boats are labor intensive. Mix West epoxy and fiberglass powder and put 2 coats in hull and sail molds. Like a jell coat. Then I start laying up multiple layers of 4oz and 6oz cloth. Bullet proof surface on the hulls. Only going to make a handle of Charlie II kits. Already have a couple of pre sales. Keep your eyes peeled as I will be listing a 688 kit, a completed 688 and the 688 molds.

I will have to dig up pics of the Golf II. Don Speilberger has those molds. Bob Martin owns the Victor III molds. He sells those kits.

First Charlie II hull out of the molds. Don't have a sail made yet so I used the sail plug to show. Tons of detail. Old camera has a hard time showing details.

Looks like theres a post “walker” prop for the charlie as well
