Hi Guys,
I just wanted to chime in since earlier this month I was in the exact same situation. I actually ended up finding a website that allowed me to design simple shapes in 3D for free. I was able to create a saddle, download the file, and then upload it to Shapeways. They printed it in their "white versatile" plastic. They were not inexpensive (about $14 each) but they turned out dead-on perfect for my 2" Subdriver, and fit like a glove inside my Trumpeter Seawolf. Out of curiosity, I placed a third saddle in water overnight to see if it would swell or deform, and I was pleased to see that it didn't. That white plastic from Shapeways is surprisingly durable, and it accepted a pair of brass screw eye-hooks with no fuss at all.
