I have to agree with Bill, The purpose of the Brit Boats is to make ours look even sexier on their worst days. Great work as always Steve.

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Thanks Matt! I also made a set for air hoses using the same design.

              Here is the air connector.

Thanks guys. The magnet setup is nothing fancy. They are just strong and closely located so they just jump connect.
A bit more work on the boat. Next Sunday she goes to the pool for testing. Next up another OTW R Class and then my Skipjack. Here's some pics. No rust bucket this time. Just a bit of weather and a light scum line.

                        Hey Steve
I could not help but notice the Mattel vaccuform in the background.
I bet only two old fart's like us would even know what it is.
My best friend DonO still has his and it still works like a champ.
You know the plastic is still available on EBay.
It needs those perforations around the edge to fit.
The boat looks great BTW. BD

BD this one still works to. I use it for small stuff.

Thanks you guys. Just tested the OTW cylinder. She checks out. No leaks. We are going for testing and or balance-trimming the boat.

We had one. I could never figure out how the vacuformed car bodies were supposed to fit on the crappy chassis that came with them.

Just a ploy so you buy more plastic to keep trying Sam.
But they sure did build toys to last back then. BD
