    GRAUPNER MC-15 / 40MHz / channel 91

    HI there ,

    Next week I wheel have in my hand (hopefully) a Graupner MC-15 / 40MHz / 91 channel .
Regarding these I spent all my day (7 to 8 hours !!!) , today in order to find some informations / videos / tutorials at least a PDF Manual for it .
But despite all of my efforts I couldn't find anything , but NOTHING , zip , Zero informations about it . Mybe I'm not so skiled with internet .
I thought maybe was made only 400-500 pieces and nobody cares to put on internet some info .
I know was made around year 2008 ( not OLD , huh ) , and I thought is my last chance to open a thread here about these RC station .
Any information is valuable , so Please feel free to share with me what ever You have .
I am "brand new" to these field and I DON'T know anything about RC . Was the only one I get afford to buy . Is gonna be used for an RC submarine project .
So if You have some directions for me don't hesitate to tell me .

    All the best

        HI there ,

The time for Preparing my old RC GRAUPNER MC-15 / 40MHz station is coming Little by Little .
But here I need some Experts Advices abut how to Expand the Nr of channels from 6 to 10-12 channels .
I know is possible because I opened the case and I see these ][/url]

[b]And these is the way I want to look like ]

Please don't tell me to go to Graupner site . That site is USELESS !!! , believe me . I spend almost 2 nights in order to find a way to correspond with someone but with NO success .
As a matter fact I don't need them . Al I need is what type of components are suitable for and If is necessary to make some settings on it .
Can some one help with that ?
        Many Thanks in Advance .

        Yours MARIUS

          Re: GRAUPNER MC-15 / 40MHz / channel 91

          Hi Marius

The MC-15 can support up to 6 1- or 2-way switches (on-off or on-on) onto the brownish 2-pin connectors and up to 3 3-way switches or potentiometer/sliders onto the black 5-pin connectors at the same time (page 6 in the linked instruction).
For the 1- or 2-way switches (most of them are 2-way) use pin 1 and 2 (one outer and the middle one) for the 2-pin connector. Possibly only useful to activate mixing programs on the MC-15, on my MC-19 i can also use them channels.
For the 3-way switches oder potentiometer use pin 1 and 3 (the outer ones) to pin 1 and 5 (the outer ones) at the 5-pin connector and pin 2 (middle one) on pin 2 or 4 on the 5-pin connector, turning the connector means reversing the channel.
Graupner uses 4.7 kOhm potentiometer linear type; the sliders are 30 mm types.
All connectors are 2.54mm / 100 mil / .1" types (distance between pins).

          I upgraded my MC-19 with 4 3-way switches:

          I used these switches http://www.reichelt.de/Female-Connector ... +094-1-005

I have an MC19s. You can use a fairly wide range of pots with the set, I find pots from 5k-10k work just fine with the set.

As far as I remember the MC-15 has fixed assigned channels, so just plug them in and you can use the corresponding channel on the rx.
The MC-19 can freely assign each input to any of up to 12 channels. (in ship and car mode)

Some times when looking for switches, I find the rating I want but not the lever I want.
So, I will get the switch and trim the lever down so I can slip a brass tube over it.
I can then make the lever any length I need and I can flatten it to drill hole in it for control rod.
