Anyone else converted Bronco's 1/35 Type XXIII to RC
Re: Anyone else converted Bronco's 1/35 Type XXIII to RC
Touche.
Well Bigdave doesn't drive his type 23 without a leveler. Does anyone have a video of his 23 operating submerged. Those on youtube don't show enough detail.
Re: Anyone else converted Bronco's 1/35 Type XXIII to RC
The simple answer is, you can generally get by without a leveller on most submarines if you keep the speed down. Once you start going above a very slow walking place, dynamic effects really start to take hold, and it becomes very difficult to keep the boat level, that's when you want a helping hand in the form of pitch controller/leveller.

that looks great,
makes me want to get back into the hobby. I think I will take the rest of the day and give one boat a tune up, new fwd dive planes, and work on my other sub project. thanks for posting. good stuff. Have a great new year. Jeff Jones
Too old to Rock- n- Roll, too young to die ! Subs are just my speed......

I have been out of the loop for so long with my life shaping events the last year that I was totally unaware of this kit. Can they still be had?
Also would like to say you did an excellent job on bringing this boat to life.
