    Which would be better for

[quote]Which would be better for use as a Propel substitute]

If EPA got wind of this they would probably make it illegal, so keep amongst ourselves.

      Re: Green Gas

Has anyone tried using Green Gas instead of Propel. GG is commonly used in airsoft guns and is composed of propane gas with some silicone oil added as lubricant.

this is reinventing the wheel. this was talked about over ten years ago! after freon was taken off the market "so to speak" everybody was looking for an alt.. and the best one to fill the bill so far is the MG chemicals refill 134.
if memory serves me right sombody tryed a propane based liquified gas
and blew there sub up and almost took themselves with it .

If you look at the refill nozzle it's similar to the ones used for refilling butane torches so I think you have to swap the schreader valve with the refill valve from a refillable lighter.
sigpic. You have to ask yourself one question...would the admiral approve

        I've seen some airsoft gas

I've seen some airsoft gas that are 134a based. Problem is still with the charging nozzle.

          Yes my adapter will work

Yes my adapter will work on those. Just give me a bit and ill get all the stuff together so I can show you guys.

Got those "how to" adapter pics ready yet?
Having trouble locating Propel here. All I see are airsoft green gas (Propane and HFC134a) and some Japanese brand of air brush propellant that use similar nozzles ( long slender tip like in lighter refill)

              Ok here is the basic

Ok here is the basic idea.

Buy a can of fix a flat. It comes with and adapter that fits to the non threaded top of the can. it is alo alread designed to hook up to a schrader valve. Just pop the top off that this and you got it. You can also take it a step farther and cut the provided nozzle off and replace it with the metal adapter that you get at walmart or any hardware store.
