    That will help, but you'll probably find you get problems with de-lamination between the different materials once exposed to water.

    This could happen quickly or over a matter of time. Much depends on the weather patterns in your area. if you get extremes of temperature, this problem seems to be much more acute.

      Oh well.

      I knew it would be a static model for 99% of its life anyway. Guess that takes care of the other 1%.

      As I said earlier, all that matters is that I finish the boat in my head before I die. I don't have anything terminal so that means I have 30 or more years to get it right or I could get run over by a street car tomorrow.
