New place to post better quality videos

A friend of mine is part owner of http://www.wavelit.com/

Unlike Youtube and it's Wally George audience, over compressed, dropped framed videos this site has 30 FPS and a decent quality at small frame size. Since Stage 6 went down there isn't a site with good full frame anymore. But I was pleased when I first posted here and felt like I just got glasses. And the video isn't jerking because they dropped your FPS.

The owners are worried the site won't hold with all the others out there. So I'm encouraging you guys to try it and help keep it alive. I closed my account at YouTube. I always felt like I needed a bath after being there.

The site has nice features to for your personal account. Friends list, blog and more. Very easy to use and the uploads are fast.

    Here's a couple of my videos]http://wavelit.com/media/552/Ghost_Squa ... de_screen/[/url]

Give a try and tell your friends.

    Thanks guys,

    Steve

...just tried it again. Smooth as silk. The choppy rate that you are seeing could be due to your link to the site or the loading on the video site being different when I went to it.

                Don't know what the choppy

Don't know what the choppy bit is about. It could just be buffering. If that's the case let it play all the way through then play it again and it should be fine.

Glad you guys are giving it a go. I've been very happy with it. YouTube, and the others were giving me double vision and the jerks with the poor frame rate.

Photobucket is ok but they have a 100mb limit and it took about 30 min. to upload a 40 sec. video. Then I tried wavelit and they also have a 100mb limit but uploading was much faster , on the order of 10 minutes. Copying and pasting the photobucket video was easy. I havent had any sucess yet with wavelit.Cant get it to paste.

Stopped using Photobucket and I have a paid account. The video quality is very poor. Can't compare to Wavelit.

They over compress and they drop your frame count to 15 FPS. Nasty.
