    Computer radio APC mixing problems

In the last post under porpoising problems that I started a new problem developed for me. Since I am using a computer radio to do the mixing of the two servos for the x-tail that creates a problem for hooking up the APC. Since the radio does the mixing of the two servos internaly then how do you hook up an APC to two servos when an APC has only one lead in and one lead out. With the seperate mixer that Subtek supplies you have two hookups in and two hookups out.Im wondering if I need to install two APCs. Or can I link the two servos through the APC with a wiring harness? Or am I missing something?

    You can't use the mixing

You can't use the mixing function inside the transmitter and still use an APC. A separate, internal (to the boat) mixer is required.

I suppose it's possible but....why bother? Use the SubTech X-Mix and be done with it.

          thanks Skip, I have a

thanks Skip, I have a subtek X-mix that I have been using for a year. But I have been experiencing servo glitching problems so I started eliminating componants to try and pinpoint the problem

            Try leaving the X-Mix in

Try leaving the X-Mix in place but remove the auto leveler you're using. I'll be willing to bet that the glitching goes away. If (when) it does, then call Mike at Mikes SubWorks for an APC-4. They're proven compatible with each other.

              actually I was using a

actually I was using a subtek unit first. this is a subtek albacore that I am working on. Had glitching problems from the very start. Did not find mike as helpful as I thought he should be so I stopped using his products.so I switched to atomic subs for there stuff but this problem did not go away.I have been posting some of my problems under the topics "porpoising problems "and" servo interference problems".

Thanks Skip, you were right about the Subtek componants working better together , it ran great. However the glitching of the planes and rudders are still there. But it doesnt seem to cause a handling problem. In the future I plan to try another mixer or go back to the radio mixing and try two APCs. Thanks
