      Came across that one too.

Came across that one too. It looks like it has sattle tanks (for example weel visible with C11(like the type VII)). I don't see it in the photo here and if you ask me the deck (towards the bow is higher). I have to say It does come close.

              Hi Antoine! You are correct!

Hi Antoine! You are correct! Rest easy everyone, I know that was a hard one.

VK type submarine No 13 . Coastal sub. about 300 tons, 2 torp tubes , 26 men , 11/8 knts.

This submarine was a British Vickers design, for the Japanese Imperial Navy. I do not know if it was built in Britain or in Japan under license. Remember the Japanese battle cruiser 'Kongo'? It was also built around that same time from 'Vickers'. Kongo was the last major warship built for Japan from overseas. The other three 'Kongo's were built in Japan. Then on Japan would build her own superb warships. Their Japanese submarines evolved and branched out with their own remarkable designs like ones of other Navies, Britain, Russia, Sweden, Netherlands. All had purchased, or were permitted to build their own versions under licence of one or more 'Holland' boats initially to begin each their own embryonic submarine service.

              Bravo!

Be informed that I modified a little bit the picture in the bow area to hide the number of the boat.It didnt affect the shape of the boat but only the color of the hull in this area.

                        Antoine

                        IT IS THE E-34
