I was looking over some of my unbuilt plastic models kits when all of a sudden I had this idea. Here it goes...
Attach a 1/8 dia brass or stainless steel rod vertical to the sail or back of your sub. Next get a built up 1/72 or 1/100 scale Seahawk model or any other Navy heli and attach it to the top end.
With the sub surfaced it will look like the heli's doing a air to ship transfer like the scene in Hunt for red October.
Submerge the sub and the heli will look like it's conducting ASW operations with it's dunking sonar deployed. Just don't dive to deep though or you'll send your seahawk into the drink.
I'm just wondering if this setup would have any detrimental effect on the subs stability.
