    I have the Revell Gato

I have the Revell Gato to build in R/C. And hopefully later this year, take delivery of one of Kevin McCloud's Oscar hulls to begin.
Due to some personal delays, I am sure neither will be ready for the summer subregatta, but the Gato will be close.

            What is not on my

What is not on my bench is the question Tim, but thanks to Rick and Ray, two are not!

            This one,

            and this one.

Up first to finish is the Sturgeon as a hull kit in 1/72nd.

Then my R/C Revell GATO to model to play with.

USS Nautilus model that has been crying out to me as I walk on by! Another projected hull kit in 1/96th
            For this year.

Have an OHIO model I kick around on now and then in 1/144th and plan to kit this year. Along with a 1/72 XXI model I have built.

Still need to finish the Revell TYPE 7 WTC, this has been done some three different ways, but now I have settled on a pump system for the ballast system for the cylinder that just moves water in and out, very simple. Any way I look so forward to this years work from all of you guy’s and sometimes feel as if I have been sleeping for so long. So let’s get at it fellows and Build More Subs.

The "plan" is to have my scratch built 1:25 VIIc/41 complete, functioning, and in the water in 2007. With a little luck, Summer 2007......as I prefer not to have to break the ice off the lake to try it out.

                    Long time no see

                    Hi SubCommittee,

it's been a while but today I sent my renewal för 2007 after 1 year of absence from the SubCommittee. Too much to worry about at work and at home caused me to take a break from subs but here I go again!

I still have my Ray Mason kit, it's been sitting on a shelf for 1 year but is now sporting an extra pair of rear divingplanes, can't wait to try her out this summer.

I also have a scratchbuilt hull of the sharksub from the Tintin comics in the works, this hull will share WTC with the Nautilus.

I sold my Robbe U-47, possible future projects might be another Nautilus, perhaps the comic book version from the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

By the way, during the summer of 2006 I went scubadiving in Narvik, I shot this photo under water showing the bow of a WWII German Destroyer, a truly great experience!

                    Cheers!

                        Great Hopes

Well as i dont know squat about plastics or fiberglass so im going to attempt to build a 1/25 Type VIIC U-255 from steel and make it float and static dive as well. Will it ever get done?? lets hope so since i gave up racin and buildin stock cars i need a hobby, and i seemed to have rekindled an old love for U-Boats. Doc

Here's a 6 footer I started, 1/24th scale, someday it might get finished, its built similar to the 1/32nd scale I made. Jeff Jones
