    clippard et2

has any one used a clippard et2 solenoid valve as a vent valve? Or a pair as they have a rather small orifice?
    Thanks

    Hi Rick, I haven't seen

Hi Rick, I haven't seen you in a few years buddy. I don't know if this will help you. In my Nautilus I use a very small clippard air piston that is normaly held out by a internal spring. When you apply pressure to it the piston pulls inward. I mounted a cone shaped rubber stopper to the end of the piston. This normaly pushes against and seals the vent hole in the ballast tank. I use Co2 in my system and control the piston with a standard clippard valve. When the piston pulls in it lets the air vent out. It has worked flawlessly for many years. Dave.
