Do servo (male/female) connectors work in water?

For some connectors, where possible, I use blue robotics penetrator connectors. rated to 900 meters if you use the correct wire. This could be done for 2,3,4 conductor wires and more. https://bluerobotics.com/product-cat...s/penetrators/

Try to replace the servo connector with Dean's 3 pins connector, I think they are plated for corrosion. Apply some DeoxIT will also help.

I think the connectors corrode pretty fast when they get damp so I'd put something around them. Look at the wires carefully because water can get in that way too.

Mini-servo seems perfect for a narrow bow installation. I just ordered it. The plan is to connect it to actuate the Revell Gato bow dive-planes retract mechanism.
I’ll run a servo power/signal line (extension) out the front WTC bulkhead to lend power the IP68 servo.

Anyone think it’s necessary to waterproof the black plastic Futaba/JR servo connectors?
