    1.92

    Think of it this way

    1.92

Think of it this way 1/100 is twice as big as 1/200, so your number should be just a tad bit under 2.

Doubling the size of the 1/192 plans would give you 1/96.

    Here's a tip
    ... metric sizes are 1/200, 1/100, 1/50
    ... imperial sizes are 1/192, 1/96, 1/48

You may find it easier to convert the plans to 1/96 and work with inches.

Thanks bcliffe, but after cruising the net I found a conversion chart. It's 192% for 1/196 to 1/100.

              It occurs to me that

It occurs to me that a neat feature for the SC website would be to have a form based scale calculator where you could plug in your full scale dimensions, select the scale, hit enter and get the proper scale dimension. Something similar to this metric conversion page]http://convert.french-property.co.uk/index.htm[/url].

If nothing else, we could post a link to something comparable already on the web. I would use it on occasion.
              Warm regards,

There are a couple of Excel spreadsheet conversion charts here. While these are set primarily set for models of Great Lakes oreboats, they can be used for other models.
