My latest kit is the Engel Lafayette kit. I am in the early stages of assembly and hope to have it ready for the Sub Regatta this year.

I will soon try to add some pictures to my member homepage.

          Hi Ron, I guess you

Hi Ron, I guess you could say it is about 1/7 scale. It is about 15 in high X 7 in wide X 12 in long. I am working from a set of Tinsley(I think, it is hard to read the name on my set) plans. The hull is going to be epoxyglass, covered in thin wood. I have the foam plug carved, and most of my design work done. It will have 4 channels, top screw, front screw, rudder, and ballast. Dave.

            Dave,

Your turtle sounds great. I hope you get it done in time to bring to Rhode Island. I am working on a british midget in
1/16 scale and like the fact that it is a managable size, but the amount of detail is related to how much free time you have. I understand now why a lot of folks like "big" / large
            scale boats.

Started in on construction of the SEAWOLF, posted pics on my SubComm page here:
                My Webpage

So far, construction has been very straightforward, and any questions I have had are promptly answered by Matt. The key (as with most things I suppose) is patience. Into filing out flood holes now. Will post more soon.

                  Thought I might add some

Thought I might add some pictures of my Typhoon:

                  OverallView

                  View showing the missile deck

                  Front view

                  View showing the torpedo tubes

I received this model from my cousin so the scale is unknown, after some calculations I believe that its 1/350th, well, what do you think?

Okay, so I don't know what's with the "Image Hosted by Tripod" thing, but you can find more on my website: Captain Nemo's Nautilus

The Typhoon was bought from a hobby shop many years ago and it is motor driven, so not RC but it does make a really great display model. Although, there is definetely room for radio equipment, who knows? Maybe I'll think of installing R/C stuff inside someday!

Tripod blocks you from using their free sites to host photos. That was one of the (many) reasons I switched.
