Small World Models 1/96th Japanese Oyashio

I spend a lot of time on airplanes flying all over creation for my day job, so I try and make the best of the time I have to make progress on other subjects. Here is the completed 3D model of the Oyashio. Don Spielberger was recently able to locate the masters and patters for the original Oyashio. The original is off a bit here and there, so I am going to update the model via 3D printing all new masters (Since I am a brainless, talentless hack). I will go press a few buttons and the new Oyashio Kit masters will magically appear on my work bench . By the way there is nearly 100 hours of solid CAD work on this one.

This kit will be introduced shortly after the Blueback, but the Kilo is the next boat up.
    Regards,

    Matt

That’s a really cool looking boat Matt. If that’s also 1/96 scale, what’s the LOA of that model?
