Needed: older SubTech ALBACORE Drive Unit

    All,

I need to score an old SubTech 3:1 Drive reduction unit.

Hoping someone has one in a drawer of old parts, or a boat that's no longer usable. Perhaps converted into a "SubDriver", WTC or whatever they call the fashionable "tupperware" now-a-day's type boat. (He would remember the reference lol).

If someone has a kit they never finished or parted out, or kit bashed into something else. I know they're out there.

Will pay reasonable $$. Can probably find a home for any other components you wish to part out.

Also, if someone knows the original source Skip got 'em from, that would be much appreciated as well.

Long story short, I'm helping a friend and righting a wrong.

So please check those old drawers, closets and cardboard boxes where parts go to die and help a shipmate out.

You're saying Mike's still in Business?

We've been trying to get him and Alyssa to attend not only the Groton SubFunRun, but the AMA (was WRAM) Shows in February. But something always comes up.

I'll give him a ring, but I honestly when I last personally spoke with him understood the business had it. Hence the posting.

Anyone out here spoke with Mike lately, is he still in business? I'll reach out regardless.

      Thanks!

          YOU ARE THE MAN!!

I don't care what Lambing say's about you, I still love you.

As much as one straight guy can love another straight guy of course!!

            LOL
            Thank you for the laugh!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Hey, you know we all could use more laughter!

Also, this whole incident underscored one primary thing, again.

The importance of this organization to the individual.
