A boat is a boat is a boat

May I request having a non submarine build section.
Most all of the guys that build model submarines also build targets.
A section for the occasional non sub build I believe would be a good thing.
Like I said, a boat is a boat is a boat.
The same rules apply to building one that travels on or under the water.
Building tips can be learned that apply to either one.
    Just my two cents.
And the answer to the burning question of will a surface ship dive.
    The answer is yes. Once!
But actually I have a Texaco tanker that will dive and surface as if it were torpedo'd.

    Submitted for your consideration. Bigdave

For what it is worth I completely agree with BD. Virtually all tricks and techniques transcend the boundry between surface and sub-surface models so why not see what surface builds have to offer in useful information

Well I for one enjoy all model builds. If I only have time to visit one site I would rather go to a sub site with some target builds than a boat site with limited sub exposure

Sounds like a good idea to me!

I just create a "Surface Boats" forum, located in the "general" category. I'll also move Eric's tug boat thread to there as well.

Ask and you shall receive. Thanks Jeff, nice idea. I too have more surface boats than subs, for now.
