Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/)

Hi All, I like the new forum but I do have a minor issue. When I login to my account with the remember me checked I get in but I got this message "Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.subcommittee.com/forum/)"
I then clicked on the forum tag in the upper left by the subcommittee logo and continued to the forums. I am running IE on windows 7 ( in case it makes a difference)

You and wlambing are having the same issues.
The redirect url is held in the subcommittee cookie on your machine... along with your password.
It has old url information save in it.
If you delete the cookie for subcommittee it will reset and save the correct url when you log in.

The url that should be in the cookie follows....

http://subcommittee.com/forum/forum.php

If you can edit you redirect, just copy the above and replace.

Your url redirect does not contain..... forum.php ..... at the end.
The new url has more to it now.

Now if I can find out how to help wlambing and find where his cookies are stored.

ok here is what I did, I deleted all cookies. no change I then went to into IE/ tools /internet options then i went to privacy and clicked on the sites button and put in the new subcommittee url that you listed and clicked on allow. it seems to be working, whether that was the right way to do or not i'm not sure. Smarter minds than me can figure it out. btw I am using IE version 9

Well that's one way to do it.
By deleting all cookie, you will find you will have to re enter other user names and passwords to any other sites you log on to.

You could have deleted or edited just the subcommittee cookie.

But you can also use this as a learning experience on privacy and cookies.

A note to the good:
by deleting all cookies you removed all those un necessary cookies as well, that tend to slow your computer down that do nothing for you or your computer.

Over the years I have gotten to where I kill cookies during ever secession online.
I have 9 that I know I need and use that don't collect key data.
I make sure to kill the Facebook cookie.
It is actively collecting key data even when you are not on Facebook as long as the e-mail address and password have been entered. (cookie)
