List of organizational changes to the forum - IE: Where'd everything go!?

In an effort to help everyone navigate the slightly new layout of the new forums, I have created the following list to help you locate where things may have moved to and, in some cases, a brief description as to why they were moved:
    1. The Exchange:
      1. Added SubCollector Channel: This will be an area where people can focus on collector's memorabilia information and resources
      2. Changed R/C Modeler to R/C Modeler Q&A. The old channel was cluttered with dozens of different categories of information, turning it into a form of "catch all" for anything R/C. This is now where you go to post up a question or a solution to an R/C sub-related matter
      3. Added SubSimulation: to help focus information and resources concerning online submarine-related gaming and simulations
      4. Added a dedicated "build thread" channel. This is where those who are undertaking a start-to-finish buildup can post, and will likely be one of the most valuable spots on the forum eventually. This needs to be populated with builds from the old R/C Modeler section (volunteers, anyone!?)
      5. Changed Static Modeler to Static Modeler Q&A
      6. Moved a lot of resource-related information from R/C modeler to SubResearcher/Historian section. This is where you post up reference material, blueprints, etc.
    2. Fox Schedule:
      1. Regional Chapter News: Lots of concern from people who think we are doing away with the SubRon/SubCom nomenclature. This is not the case at all. Not everyone knows what a SubRon/Com is, so we changed the title to something that everyone will be able to easily understand and identify. All individual SubRon/Com channels were merged into one main "Regional Chapter News" topic. The old format with individual areas having their own channels was taking up an enormous amount of real estate on our main page, and it was getting only one to two new topics created per month. Provided new topics are created using the local chapter name (IE: SubCom Lonestar), identifying local chapter news will be a piece of cake
    3. Smoke on the Horizon:
      1. Vendor New Products and Vendor New Announcements rolled together into one topic called Vendor Updates. Vendors can post updates to their businesses, products, pricing, etc. and are encouraged to use their company name followed by the topic title when they create their post so that people can easily identify who the post belongs to. Again, exceptionally few posts and updates and products were both redundant.
    4. Submarine Media:
      1. Broke out the media into separate, specific topics, including books, videos, movies and a specific area for the SubCommittee Report

Those are the major changes that I can think of right now. If you've lost something, by all means post up here and we'll help you find it!

Again, we'd love to have a volunteer(s) step up and scour the old R/C modeler channel for great build threads that we can port to the proper Build Thread channel. It's not rocket science and it is fairly easy and quick to do (there is just a LOT to go through).
