The 1/72nd Scale SSN 571 Nautilus will be placed on temporary hold in favor of production of a 1/96th Scale SSN 571 Nautilus kit. The larger kits are selling much more slowly than the smaller, more easily handled kits. This release makes more sense as it fits in with our current 1/96th Scale Permit and Sturgeon kits. It also fits in with the several new 1/96th kits that we have planned in the next 24 months that will work perfectly with the soon to be introduced Precision Pattern ballast system, which will drop right into each one of these kits, allow us to keep costs to a minimum through standardization. I am still looking at a late summer 2014 release as the SSN 571 kit is our main focus at present. Photos to follow soon....
