Just ran across something I think is new at my local Target department store. I was wandering through the RC toys section and saw that MicroBlast now has a set of mini RC subs out. They look like they run similar to the E-XP-1 that was reviewed in the Smoke on the Horizon article in the June 2003 issue. They have a 27MHz and 49MHz models. Subs run off of 3 AAA batteries and a 9V for the remote, and went for US $25 each.

To anyone interested I just found a simular item at Toys"R" Us for $13. It is called the Fastlane mini submarine, and it's YELLOW. COOL! I have a fairly large aquarium and my fish just love me now. It's alot of fun for $13. Dave.
