RSW has new kits

I am pleased to announce the arrival of three new kits to RSW

1/72 Type 21
1/72 Type 9
1/35 Type 23

All kits are vacuum formed hulls with cast control surfaces. Each kit also has a complete laser etch detail kit available for it that makes it really stand out as a detailed model.

Here are the kit dimensions

Type XXI
41.9" Long 4.375" Beam

Type IX
41.88" Long 3.55" Beam

Type XXIII
39" Long 3.37" Beam

I will add more photos and pricing for the upgraded kits as I put things together.

As I am in the process of moving I am trying to decrease some of the stuff I have stored up. Because of this I have decided to sell the 3 boats I was keeping for myself.

I am selling 1 of each kit at the blow out price of 160 plus shipping. This deal wont come along again so hurry while the getting is good. Again I only have one of each model.

Bad news. I asked Kevin about this kit last week and he said that the Type XXI kit is no longer available due to import issues.

It really sucks. This sub in 72 scale is one of my grail kits.

At the very least we can use Rogue's images for wallpapers.

Leelan is right. The kit just got to difficult to get in country.
The end price for a plastic hull would be just to high.

There is the Combat Models hull that is available for the XXI. Would it be possible to get the PE set for your former offering and use it to improve the CM kit? I have heard that the CM hull is not entirely accurate but it would be better than nothing.

On of the issues with the provider was the exchange of money. He refused paypal, couldn't do an intl bank transfer because his bank was not a member, and his country imposed nearly a %50 tariff on money exchanges. The PE cost more then the boat to begin with and then combine that with the fees I just wouldn't recommend it.

Perhaps one day a better solution will come to surface.

Maybe things will improve. But it isn't like we don't have other models to build I suppose.
