...just looking at these this morning.
Can anybody reccomend a good source for miniature reversable pumps? I've tried those geared 'fuel pumps' with little success and some expense. The ideal pump would be able to lift a bit of water without necessarily being primed. Have been looking at those drill pumps but probably too large. Any suggestions greatly appreciated......

That sounds like a job for a peristaltic pump, but they offer poor flow rates when compared with other types of pump.
