    New web site

Thanks to the masterful work of Paul Crozier my web site now has a brand new face and attitude. It has also been updated to include a paypal check out and cart for your convenience. I look forward to posting some pictures of the up and comming 1/72 Nautilus on the site within the next week or so. I will also be adding a section to the site to share with you some of the stunning photographs I have uncovered during my research of this groundbreaking submarine.

    Welcome the 1950s guys!

      Kevin,

I just e-mailed you the video clip I had told you about showing the Nautilus's bow planes rigged out. I had to send it to your Rogue Sub Works e-mail because the forum software blocked my e-mailing you here, and I don't know your address. I got the message "You are not permitted to send e-mail to this user" (Ronald?!?) No luck uploading video to the forum either.

Looking forward to seeing your progress on the 571 master. Good luck on your surgery.

Hmmm, SubmarineWorks... Rogue Submarine Works... Why that's not close at all. One has a whole different word in front of it. That makes it completely different. And I liked the logo I did for you better.

paul, very nice website design though. Love the retro look.

Where you getting your electronics from?
Is that Brian Starke's Nautilus plug you're working with?

              No No No Pete
Thats 2 words different. Mine is Rogue Sub Works. Lets not forget Mike's sub works. How crazy can we get with our names??
I like the logo you did aswell but it didnt fit into the site styling very well. I have other plans for it though. Your work was not in vain.

As for the Nautilus. It has absolutely no connection with what stark is doing at all. That model was in 1/96 scale . This one is going to be 1/72 scale and machined on a CNC.

                      Paul,
Yeah, that site design reminds me of books, comics and things from when I was a wee little pup. Although that era is before my time (but not by much), it does remind me of when I had not a care in the world. Ah, those were the days. Gives me a nice feeling inside just looking at the site. I must visit it often.

1/72? Ohhh. That's going to be a biggie, eh? Well you're right there by the Nautilus, aren't you Kevin? Wutcha doin', goin' down there with your tape measure and detailing it out?

                      Pete

Among other things yes Pete! I have an all access pass to the ship since I do work there every so often.

You guys are going to fill your pants when you see the stuff that Kevin has dug up on this boat. Somehow he has information that I have never seen before with levels of detail that I have not seen before on this subject. The model is taking quite a bit of time to develop due to so much of the information that is easy to get has turned out to be VERY wrong....Of course, this happens to be what most of my SSN 571 information was. Kevin has been beating me up about the smallest details on this boat, which is a VERY good thing. He cares a great deal about making this boat dead nuts accurate. Not easy for a boat that was launched in the 1950s! Parts are underway being machined this week. Shots of the CAD work will go up on the site as soon as soon as I get the latest to Kevin.
                          Regards,

                          Matt
