Subtech keeps a full stock of compatible crystals for the receivers. If we are out of a particular frequency we obtain them directly from the manufacturer.

Chad Divine is working on the website now. We've been holding back on the website until we had some of the new products ready. The next product up will be the full SubCommander VI 6 channel 75 Mhz radio system. After that will be the new Subtech APC micro.

In the meantime you can order via email at matt@subtechrc.com

If you use the Futaba single conversion crystal (short crystal) intended for the R156F receiver then, yes, it will work.

                Matt,

Still speaking of radios (not 2.4ghz this time lol), do you know if it's possible to upgrade the old SubTech "SubCommander" (Ace Nautical Commander) from AM to FM PPM? Perhaps swapping out the RF board? Anyone out there do conversions?

I could then get a bunch of these for my smaller boats.

                  Ed,
I'm no RF engineer, but I'll give it a look. I'll be home later this week and open up my old Subtech SubCommander and see what, if anything, can be done.

You could always buy an all new SubCommander VI already on FM!☺
                  Best Regards,

                  Matt

For my opinion is worth in this hobby, I will testify to this new commanders quality. I have a bunch of other radios and this one is my favorite.
