    1:16 Kairyu Midget Submarine

I am proud to announce that Rogue Sub Works is as of today the new owner of the Wallace 1:16 scale Kairyu midget submarine. The sub is to be retooled and upgraded to include a higher level of details to turn it into a top of the line kit.
More info as this boat is reworked.

When i saw this for sale i thought it was just a hull, not the masters. Was dissa[pointed i missed out, but now i see what you've got its great news.

I think there is a Kairyu at the war museum in Tokyo, i know there is one at the Hiroshima museum, but i'm not sure when i could go there. Next time i'm in tokyo will get some photos, if its still there

would go nice with my 1/20 Koryu.

Actually the one for sale was not the masters. I bought the one for sell then decided I wanted the masters so I found and purchased them.

        Hello

So after ALL THIS TIME, I still don`t see any upgrade kit for this model. When will one be available? I have the hull and I am waiting to get one from you.

        George

          George,

I now own the rights to the kit. It will be retooled in the future. For now, it and all of its components, are temporarily out of production.

            Hi Matt

Thanks for the update on the Kairyu. Do you have any idea of when you might have the upgrades for it ready?

Would it be ok to PM you on a private matter?

            Thanks Matt

            George

              George,

At this point, I'm not really sure about when, but it will be next year some time.

Of course, please feel free to PM me about anything!

              Best,

                Hello Matt

This is George again. Re: 1:16 Kairyu Midget Submarine, what is the status of the upgraded fittings kit? It was supposed to be available by now.

I have the original hull and I would like the upgraded fittings for it.

                Let me know please.

                George

                  George,

You're right. They are supposed to be available. However, they are not. I have no idea when I'll get to them at this point. I've slowed everything down a lot. When they're ready I will make an announcement. Sorry for the wait.

A cool boat for sure. The kit did need a bit of work because of it age. Matt will get it fixed.
