Are some of the back issues locked up?

I've been researching the back issues of the SCR that I don't have and found that issue 10 won't allow any printing of the articles or the whole issue. I wasn't sure why as this is the first one that I have found that doesn't have a print command that is lit up. I tried downloading the whole issue to my computer but that didn't change anything, still no print option. About 7 other articles from 7 other issues downloaded fine. Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Dave

What issues in particular? I just want to see if I can figure it out?
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

They shouldn't be locked from printing.....

I'll take a look and if needed, will upload new versions without the lock.

I was able to unlock issues in the #1 to #8 range, but haven't been able to unlock #9 and #10.

          Still working on those two.

              Tom,

If you could verify that #9 and #10 are unlocked, I will be glad to receive a copy so I can upload to the SC download directory.

I used both AdobeReader and Adobe Acrobat to test. Acrobat allowed me to unlock al except 9/10...those require(d) a password to change the security settings.

              -tnx,

Any luck on getting issue 10 unlocked yet? Or can the article on gas ballast systems be found somewhere else that I can print it? Thanks...

                  Folks,

Tom (Salmon) Chalfant was able to get issues #9 and #10 unlocked for us. I just uploaded them to the SCR back issues location.

Many thanks to Tom and enjoy!

                    Jeff,
                    I have been busy.
I opened all the back issues and found that only Issue #6 has a problem,
It opens and loads but there is nothing but blank pages.
All the rest open just fine for me using Firefox browser.
Even found my name in issue #37 page 66.
It's true...I was once a member and I have finally rejoined.

                      Interesting development.
I can not see issue #6 when opening it from the link.
                      I downloaded Issue #6.
Then I opened it locally on my computer.
                      There it is.

                        Ralph,

Can you provide some additional details? I just tried opening #6 directly from the web site and it worked for me?

Re: Are some of the back issues locked up?

                          Sure........
I go to the Back Issues section.
                          I click on Issue #6.
I can see it load in the pdf reader.
The screeen shows that I have opened a pdf file with 62 pages.
However, only blank pages are displayed from the link.
                          I use Firefox Browser.

As I said above, I decided to download Issue 6 which I did.
I then clicked on the file in my Download folder.
It opened just as it was suppose to.
I can see all the pages download to my computer and opened locally.

All other Issues load from the net in the pdf reader.

Okay...that helped. Looks like the Firefox PDF viewer has a bug in it.....
