    SubRegatta 2014 - INFO ONLY



    The SubCommittee's 2014 SubRegatta will be held at Keystone Resort in the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. The boat pond is crystal clear mountain
    run-off water and is large enough to accommodate the running of many models at one time. There is a very nice covered pavilion for display, as well as for vendors to market their goods. It is open and allows for easy expansion if needed.

    Only a few steps away from the pond is secure place for overnight storage of the models. The rate will be offered in the pavilion which will include lots of goodies!! Keystone Lake is at an altitude of 9,200 feet, so please remember to take your first day there taking it easy!

    Contests
    There will be awards given for the top performers in the following categories]Best Engineering[/b]-First, Second and Third place.
    Best Finish- First, Second and Third place.
    Navigation Course- First, Second and Third place. The course is designed to be fun and simple to navigate for boats of all sizes. Part of the course will require
    submerged operation.
    Best of Show-First Place.

    Registration
    There will be a $10 registration fee. Online registration and event T-shirt sales are available at http://subcommittee.com/sr-register.html.

    Schedule
    Friday, July 18th will be a casual, meet & greet, check out the facilities day with some relaxed sailing. Saturday July 19th & Sunday July 20th are planned as more structured with specific sailing times for subs (2 hour segments) and surface craft (1 hour segments).

    Parking
    Please gather in the area indicated on the map as MEETING PLACE & DAY PARKING and contact Don Kibbe on his cell at 303-519-7255 to get directions.

    Keystone Resort Information

    SubRegatta 2014 Shirt Info

    Below is the SubRegatta shirt for 2014. We will be at fairly high altitude, the evenings will be cool, and during the day the sun is quite strong. The long sleeves will provide a little extra protection against sunburn and keep you warm at night. Shirts will cost $18 for M, L, XL, and $20 for XXL. Distribution will be made at SubRegatta only.
