Fun run at keystone resort colorado

Colorado crew and keystone resort are hosting a fun run this July 20 and 21st. This is a new event and I was up at the venue last weekend. The lake is great it has a nice pavilion with a beach next to it for launching. Water is clean with no obstructions. All shops restaurants parking are just a few steps away from the lake. Keystone lodge has given a break on lodging for the event. Hopefully I can get some pics of the venue up soon.

      Matt,
If this is not O.K. please remove this posting! Here is a flyer for the event.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

This looks to be an outstanding venue to run r/c subs!

                Jeff,

Tom's brother, Jeff sent me a very nice set of photos last night from another venue in the Denver area. It is an amazing place to run subs. I will post some pics today of it.

Re: Fun run at keystone resort colorado

The keystone event is a new one this year and I am looking forward to it a lot there is a pavilion and a small beach next to it and all the restaurants and condos are right on the water. The pavilion is kinda remanisant of the one in Groton, not as big but reminded me of all the good times there. This venue was brought to our attention by Don Kibbie about a year ago and wow what a score!! We will even be able to use one of the paddle boats for recovery if needed. Don has arranged good rates at one of the hotels nearby. I think this venue has great future potential for more regattas and with keystone on board I. Think it could happen
Btw in the pic of the water it's a little brown. The pic was taken in late April and the lake is fed by snow melt off and agitates the lake in the early spring but once June arrives it clears up nicely and gets clear again and also warms up a bit to
