    SubRegatta 2012 - photos and authors wanted!

    Folks,

    I am looking for a number of folks who would like to help in writing the SCR article for the SubRegatta. We had a lot of people attend this year and I'd like to take advantage of that. Instead of a single author writing about the 3 days, I am soliciting short (a couple of paragraphs) that describes your regatta experience. The idea is to get as many viewpoints as possible.

    In addition to the write-ups, I also am looking for....photos! A couple of folks have posted photos...but I know that there are more of you out there. Please point me towards any photos that you would like to have considered for being included in the September SCR. Remember...we no longer have any page limits!

      Jeff,

      I took a lot of pictures at the regatta and have them on my Facebook page available to the public. They need captions, I am terrible at getting that part done. I could post them here if I knew the procedure.

                  Does one need to be logged into FB to view these photos? I keep getting an error message about it not being currently available.....

                      I hope you don't need to be logged on. I have the pictures set to public access, the link looks right & works right for me.

                          I had to log-in to FB to view them.

                          If I want to share content across multiple sites, it's better to use one of the free photo sharing sites, like Photobucket, Flickr or Smugmug.

                          I use Photobucket, and it's easy to transfer content over to facebook if you want to share there too.

                          Failing that, just upload them using the image hosting utility.
