Personally, I'd like to thank Chris Campbell and the rest of the fellas at the Admirals for the time and effort they have contributed to all of the Sub Regattas that have been held at the Carmel Pond; they have been integral to the success of each one of them.

The Subregatta hotel, The Hilton Garden Inn, is offering up the first raffle prizes. For those staying at our official hotel only, the 2 prizes offered will be free breakfast on Saturday and Sunday for the occupants of a room. Whether that is one person or 4 per room. We will give this away at our get together on Friday before the Subregatta.
John Schagane and I are helping Chris with registration for the SubRegatta.
If you are planning on running a boat at the show, you'll need to have an official name badge for the radio impound, and you get one of those by pre-registering.

Thanks to Tim for helping with the pre-registration. You can always register at the show but remember this takes time you could have saved by doing this at home. Remember, you'll either need to register early or at the show to run a boat so getting this done early saves you time when you get here. This event has always been a great success to volunteers like Tim. If you want to help out in some way, let me know.
Thanks to all that are helping!

lol...im still so embarrassed by that!!! I'll never be going back to that cake maker again!
Just by pure coincidence, i ran into my favorite cake lady today, and she has agreed, schedule permitting, that she will make something yummy for us this year, or at the very least refer to me to someone who can make cakes AND spell correctly
We have the fountains at the reflecting pond scheduled to be turned off during the day for the Subregatta. Some have complained that the moving water caused by the fountains have made their subs harder to control. I personally like the fountains on because of the beauty from the sound and look of the water. We'll try it this year and see how it goes.
