Hey just wanted to share the photos I took earlier today. I'm now the pround owner of SpongJim's Engel Gato!!!! I'll post up the videos I took later next week.
Big Dave Welch was not able to come this year, so Don Osler called him on the cell and had everyone yell "HI DAVE" to him on the phone. This was the first SubRegatta that Dave hasn't attended!
Curtis Lee gives his presentation about his subs.
MC Butt does his thing.
FROM JIM BUTT - "Jim Whelchel - Jim is a relative newcomer to the model submarine hobby, but has many, many years in modeling everything from scratchbuilt aircraft to huge scale sailing ships to robotic fish! Jim's the guy who has built the "cub subs" that SubComEast takes to cubscout jamborees and other youth events to give youngsters a try at driving a simple r/c sub."
Kevin McLeod wowed us all with the fantastic work he does animating the scopes on his Oscar.

Skip's Marlin had a little
Skip's Marlin had a little disagreement with an Akula, to the dismay of Skip's scope and conning tower. Skip had her straightened out in a few minutes and back in the water.
