2008 Indy Swap Meet and Hobby Show October 18, 2008

For the second year, the Indy Admirals will be hosting
Indy Swap meet and Hobby Show Oct 18, 2008, at the Indiana
State Fair Grounds. The first year was a great success.
This year proposes to be even bigger. The goal of the 2008 event is to increase the number of people getting into the various hobbies. Therefore, we will still have the swap meet, but the emphasis will be on getting spectators and future hobbiest through the door. Not only do we plan on having a swap meet area, the remaining portion of the 18,000 sq feet will be dedicated to club and organization displays.
Clubs will be displaying there art and doing demos. We plan on having various "build and take" events as well. The local SubRon6 guys will be there with models on display, a small tank with the new Graupner U19 and Mr Lobster available for the kids and parents to run.
