Great shots Jim! Could you burn a CD of all the pix you took and mail them to me for the SCR?

Same goes for everyone else who took photos at SubRegatta 2007.

      Thanks!

This has to be one of my most liked shots.

Any Guess as too who this is???

This was Merrimans GATO it ran so well and kept a perfect water line! BD and Crazy Ivan boats were running along side and they all looked so damn good made me drew!!

            Pete & Dave

Matt Mugger & his daughter Heather, real nice folk’s!!!! Hope I spelled that right Matt!!

            Pete’s getting down!!

If you weren’t their than you did not know this was Merrimans ally also know as The Pirates Cove!

Our very own Stefan was the builder and operator of this 1/72 Typhoon model. Me I think it stole the show, every time it sailed the people ran to the water to see her go, and of coarse you herd “It’s The Red October”!

Kevin’s OSCAR some of the details, there is MORE TO COME!!!

I still have about this many to upload, and I need to unpack yet, Play with my puppies, and spend so time with the wife when she wakes up so……

            MORE TO COME

                  Here's some shots from Saturday:

SubCommittee Brain Trust up before dawn prepairing the grounds

"Lift that pale! Pump that bilge!" Our feerless leader directing the action.

I may not remember correctly, but I think this statue is new since last year. Anyway, what a wonderful, patriotic venue to hold our SubRegatta.

I believe one of Merriman's Skipjacks

A perrenial favorite, Warren Wilson's 1/32 scale (I believe) Type VII

                  Skipjacks on patrol

Who doesn't love the USS Batfish?

One of the first Revell 1/72 US Fleetboat R/C conversions by George Protchenko. Decks awash—what a beautiful model.

"Just one more turn ought to do it—oh wait, which way?"

The SubPirates contingent was well represented

John Louk, of the IndyAdmirals, stepped up to take on the MC duties, and did a wonderful job.

Thanks to the vendors; Mike's Subworks and Caswell Plating. There were lookers, but buyers too.

Kerry Addington there once again getting footage for another great SubRegatta DVD. Kerry, you have some red-eye in that camera.

Stefan's boat was so big I think he had himself shipped inside his Typhoon, inside a specially made crate direct to Carmel. That's one way to beat the cost of air-fare.

                  Big details.

This was impressive. Here I got a shot standing on the forward deck.

Lots of information was transfered at the regatta. Here, Rick Galinson admires the way Kevin McLeod incorporated the control chips he spoke about into his Oscar's screws.

Dave Hampton's Vessika went down like a champ.
