    Got the message from Odé

Got the message from Odé giving me these dates just today, Tom. Thanks for posting the info. here. May we have a great turnout this year. I'll be there with bells on -- General Quarters bells, that is!

    See you in September,

      A show of hands

OK, were are roughly a week away from the event at the flycasting ponds and I haven't seen much chatter on the subject. I will be there with my son, Alex and I see Jeff will be there. How about a show of hands for those who plan on making the San Francisco Fall Regatta!

            Looking forward to playing close-quarters

Looking forward to playing close-quarters tag with you and Tom again this year, Will! I'll be bringing just my usual boat plus, for foot traffic, some color printouts of that nice SC brochure Tim Smalley put together a while back. No word yet from Manley (there's apparently a competing Task Force 96 event down here next weekend which Lee is promoting), but if he doesn't show up it just means he stays off my channel and MORE STICK TIME FOR ME. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Lance and Son, looking forward to patrols with you too. Blueback's running lights are even functioning again.

Wonder why Odé and Mark Jones haven't checked in yet? Will have to e-mail 'em, I s'pose...

              Hey Guys,

              Just a few weeks

              Hey Guys,

Just a few weeks ago, Ode over saw the draining and cleaning of the ponds.
After the draining the ponds were hosed down and refilled.
Just got back from cleaning the scum off the ponds with Ode and a freind.
the ponds should be good to go for the weekend.
Look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.

Special thanks to Ode for obtaing the permit from the city and the cleaning of the ponds

                  Guy's My wife and I

Guy's My wife and I will be there, we're going to bring two of my smaller sub's ( A Type 23 and a Type 2 U-boat both in 1/32 scale) and I just got off the phone with Jack and his wife Lois both are planning to be there as well, although I don't believe his boat will be ready to run just yet. Dose anyone know if there will be food, we can buy at the event or if we need to bring our own, this year? See ya there Mike & Barb Dory

                      There are a few places

There are a few places to eat at 36th and Balboa. This is about a 5 to 6 block walk, just down the street from Ode's place.
I'll be happy to show you. Next year we are trying to get food there.
Sorry we did not get out act together.
