Second call for exhibitors
Woods Hole Model Boat Show
April 14-15, 2007
Dear Participant,
Mark your calendars! The Woods Hole Historical Museum is proud to present
the sixth biennial Woods Hole Model Boat Show on April 14 & 15, 2007,
Patriot's Day Weekend.
Friday, April 13, 2007 Saturday, April 14, 2007 Sunday, April 15, 2007
3 - 4:45 Set-up 8 – 9:45 AM Set-up 10 – 3 Open hours
5 – Welcome Reception 10 – 4 Open hours 3 - pack up
5 - Reception
Throughout both days there will be village-wide exhibits, workshops, brown
bag talks, and races. We expect to have model submarines running in the
Oceanographic tow tank. Last time, there were more than 125 boat models on
display; we are hoping for even more this year. For children there will be
an opportunity to run radio-controlled boats in a pool on the Museum's
grounds, as well as build models of our Museum's signature boat, the Woods
Hole Spritsail.
If you would like to be an exhibitor, please fill out the attached form and
send it back. We'll get back to you with more details. If you are a member
of a club, please spread the word. If you are interested in a group exhibit
or would like to run an event, please tell us. If you have exhibited in the
past, please do not hesitate to bring your same wonderful models. After all,
it’s been two years, there’ll be new visitors, and old visitors will want to
see your models again!
Likewise, if you wish to be a commercial exhibitor, mark that on your sheet,
along with your space needs, and we will contact you. In all your
correspondence, please insert "Model Boat Show Exhibitors" as the top
address line on envelopes, and as the subject line in email.
Check our website for hotels and quaint bed & breakfasts in our area.
We are looking forward to another successful Model Boat Show, shared by
those who love this art form. As always, it is you exhibitors who make it
all possible. We are eagerly awaiting your reply! Thank you so much for
your part in the Show.
